A Therapeutic Class with Carianne Vincent, Ph.D. LMHC
What is it:
- 10 – week therapy class providing education on parenting and attachment
- Helps individuals hone basic parenting skills through an attachment lens
- Offers hands-on practice and provides opportunities for therapeutic reflection on participants’ own attachment styles
- Participants gain a working understanding of how their attachment styles have created challenges in having successful relationships with their children
- Teaches ways to re-invest in their relationships with their children and develop deeper and more meaningful connections
Who is it for:
- Parents, foster/adoptive parents, and caregivers who may need support and guidance in creating strong relationships with their children and/or foster/adopted children
- Those who have a history of insecure attachments with their parents and have found it difficult to connect with their children
- Parents and caregivers who are looking for education and support on managing attachment-based behaviors and creating a more nurturing environment in their home
- Parents and caregivers who need more tools to connect with their children and creating a more healing and safe home environment with them
