Q: What type of services do you offer?

A: We offer a number of services include individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, assessments, consultation, supervision, training, and skills classes. Check out our services page or feel free to reach out if you have a specific need.

Q: Are you accepting new clients?

A: At this point we are only accepting clients to our waitlist from doctor referral. If you check with our administrative staff we may have quicker availability to engage in classes or seek services through our limited permit provider in the winter.

Q: Do you offer virtual/in person appointments?

A: Our clinicians offer a balance of in person and virtual appointments depending on their avaiability and your specific needs. Communicate your needs with our administrative staff or your specific therapist to set up your sessions.

Q: How do I schedule appointments?

A: If you are a new client, you must contact our administrative staff to schedule an appointment. If you are an established client, you can schedule through our administrative staff or through your clinician depending on their preference and availability. Best practice is to ensure your next session is scheduled as you leave your current session or to set up a recurring appointment.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. If a session is canceled less than 24 hours ahead of its scheduled time, or if you do not show for your appointment, you will be charged a late cancellation/no show fee that is not covered by insurance. We do understand emergencies and inclement weather can impact schedules for our area. We are able to shift many sessions from in office to virtual if necessary.

Q: Will my insurance cover the therapy sessions?

A: Insurance companies cover much of psychotherapy services. Our staff will be happy to work with you and the insurance company to determine how much is covered and for how long.

Q: How will the recent changes in health care affect my care?

A: Our staff will be up-to-date on the changes in healthcare to insure we can optimize health insurance benefits and continue to monitor all changes.

Q: How much information will be shared with my health insurance company?

A: That all depends on the insurance company, but only information pertinent to reimbursement of care. For the most part, that only includes diagnosis, type of therapy used, and length of time expected for treatment.
